Engage was created from a personal desire to better understand the city of Boston's local politics. The app seeks to give people all the information they need to know to civically engage with their community.
The target demographic of Engage is 18-24 year olds- the demographic least likely to vote.
In order to onboard, users need to simply create an account and add their address.
The app is designed to be informative- all information fields include descriptors explaining how one’s local government works.
